Annual RCF Rate My Team/Who to Play Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Opponent had a good game last night so this matchup is projected to be a lot tighter now :(

He had Cutler, Bennett, Marshall...I had Alshon. Thank god for that last drive that got me +6 points for Jeffery and a Cutler INT.

Still nervois about Newton or Shaun Hill...Newton 27th in QB fantasy points since week 6. Those games were 16, 4, 12, 22, 15. Meanwhile Hill is going up against the most QB-FFL-friendly team in the Redskins who give up 25 ppg to QB's. Ugh.

I hate reading on fantasy shit.

Now I am second guessing myself with Stafford over Tannehill. People keep saying how bad Ravens DEF is and how Tannehill will throw a lot. But I can't see Stafford not just airing it to Calvin a lot like he did last game.

I have till Sunday at 1 to decide.

I had Forte/Bennett last night so that helps a bit. I am happy with getting 30pts from the 2 combined.

Help me pick three please. PPR.

Julio Jones vs GB
Emmanuel Sanders vs BUF
Randall Cobb vs ATL
Josh Gordon vs IND

Need help picking 2 of these 3:
Cobb
Sanders
Beckham Jr.

You have them listed the same way I'd rank them.

mmmmmmmmmmmm

last week 178 points, this week projected 176, sitting at 168 now. cam newton finally showed up, joique, TY hilton (sorry browns), alshon had a good game too

I would pray. It will be a miracle if you win with that team. Can't trust anyone but Wilson. Anderson has been great, but you need all of Denver's RBs to remain injured. I would probably play Mathews over Boldin.

You mean you're not going with tannahill?

I prayed and so good so far. Two more wins.

Had Le'Veon Bell, Jamaal Charles, and Calvin Johnson in my PPR league. Needless to say I'm crushing that match-up.

My buddy who has been dominating all season had his worst week of the year by far and lost in the first round. Luck had an average game, none of his receivers had a good game (Tate, Kelvin Benjamin, Demaryius), and his RBs are garbage because he was relying on NE throughout the season and that's just a revolving door.

As for myself, 353 points over last two weeks, peaking at the right time :) :) :)

My team went off too for a standard league.

Stafford, Evans, Forte, Bennett. Have Cobb tonight. Biggest reason was I have Buffalo's DEF who has been great, but wasn't going to play them against DEN and I believe next week is someone else good. So I picked up St. Louis DEF who got me like 27pts. Huge, huge.

Now I am planning on picking up the DEF who is against Jax or NYG against Washington again. Can Washington really have 3 bad games in a row? They were just shut out twice haha.

I need ONE MORE WIN and I am in the finals. Then I don't care if I win or lose. I just will be in the big $$$

After getting 80 from Forte, Murray, and Romo on Thursday, Keenan Allen, Lafell, and Gates couldn't get me 15 points PPR and now I am not in the playoffs. Keenan Allen is the worst #1 WR in all of football. I would advise everyone against drafting him at any point next year. Greg Little would be a better option.

Wow you had to be feeling pretty damn confident after Thursday.

Sucks, man.

So the final results of my three leagues are in.

Did not make the playoffs in the 12 team league with a record of 6-7. This week was week one of the playoffs and our league does offer a consolation bracket (if you win the loser's bracket, you get your money back). Unfortunately, I had my ass handed to me. The score currently rests at 150 to my 62 points. Unless Julio Jones scores 89 points tonight, I'm officially done for the year.

I can't really be too mad, though. There wasn't a combination of players I could have played this week that would have made a difference given that I went up against Le'Veon Bell (41 points), Tony Romo (28 in a six point per QB TD league), and AJ Green (30). With an absolutely ideal scoring line-up (that doesn't take into account that I started what is probably my best line-up), I would have scored 102 and still been down 48 points.

This team's failures can pretty much be pinned on LeSean McCoy. He had about three good games all season, and that's just not going to get it done for a guy you pick number one overall.

This was also week one of the playoffs in my PPR league, as six teams make it. I finished as the fourth seed at 8-5 due to some questionable tie-breaker settings (I think Points For should be the first tie-breaker, but in this league it's Head to Head). However, given that my team had Le'Veon Bell (49 points), Jamaal Charles (28), and Calvin Johnson (30), well, it didn't really matter. I dropped 177 points to my opponent's 130 (and that was with Ingram only giving me five) and I still have Jordy Nelson playing tonight.

Next week I play the best team in the league. Should be an interesting match-up. Hopefully Bell continues to destroy everyone in his path.

---

I also fared well in my .5 PPR league. I'm currently up 108.10 to 57.38 with Eddie Lacy still to play (my opponent has Bryant) and I'll be finishing with a 9-5 record will leave me tied for the best record and the second seed in the playoffs due to tie-breaker rules.

The downside is that I just lost Brandon Marshall for the season, Jimmy Graham has been playing like hot garbage the past two weeks, and I'm not sure I can trust Mark Ingram as my flex any more. I do still have Edelman and Fred Jackson as potential flex options, though.

Yeah, I won my league in the "quarterfinals" and play the #1 team next week. He was tied with the 2nd place team but honestly, he isn't the best team in the league. People's teams just never played good against his. Our lineups (pending) for next week to see who goes to Championship, will be:

Him:
Rodgers
Sanu (or Decker)
Edelman
Dez
Rashad Jennings (healthy?)
Crowell (or Lamar Miller)
Travis Kelce

Me:
Stafford
Cobb
M. Evans
M. Wallace
Forte
Jeremy Hill (or Ivory or L. Murray)
M. Bennett

I really don't mind the match-up at all.

My match-up will be a little tougher next week, unfortunately.

Him:
QB - Russell Wilson
RB - Matt Forte
RB - CJ Anderson
WR - AJ Green
WR - Antonio Brown
TE - Coby Fleener (or Scott Chandler)
FL - Jarvis Landry (or Eric Decker)
D/ST - Lions
K - Caleb Sturgis

Me:
QB - Tom Brady
RB - Jamaal Charles
RB - Le'Veon Bell
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Jordy Nelson
TE - Travis Kelce
FL - Julio Jones (or Josh Gordon / Mark Ingram)
D/ST - Texans (although I need to look at match-ups and might pick one up)
K - Stephen Gostkowski

That could really go either way. It's all going to hinge on whose players have bigger days, as both rosters are solid.
