Are we allowed to have a .gif as our avatar AND sig?

I have dsl and even it is taking a litttttle bit longer to load, but it is fun to watch the vids my personal favorite being the Ruben Patterson Shake hah. But if you are independently hosting this site guys and it's costing money then make sure they upload any image or video from a different site. cuz if it is hosted by this site and u are paying for hosting then u will use up all your bandwith but u probably know this but just checkin..to be sure..
