Batman is dead

DC has killed off Batman in Final Crisis #6.

He takes a heavy hitter villian with him. Superman is pissed beyond description and the Earth is seemingly going to be destroyed as some heroes accept their fate.

Grant Morrison is a genius, but sometimes he leaves a stinking corpse of continuity behind him.

No way this flies for the rest of the year, what with Batman riding high with his latest movie. But of course, the Captain America title is very good without THE Captain America.
