Nobody in my family went to a college that is a powerhouse, my father attended The Naval Academy for college, Georgetown Law, and University of Rhode Island. so we dont have a big college football affiliation, i myself got accepted to transfer into West Virginia University (100% Acceptece Rate Baby!!) as well as Virginia Tech, alot of my friends go to Tech, so ill pull for Tech. The school i wanted to go to was East Carolina University there football team isnt very good, and i also wanted to go to JMU, they were the D II Champions.

what affiliation do you guys have with OSU, aside from living in Ohio?

Just as much of an affiliation that you have with the Patriots Red Sox but not the Celtics because they suck..

My dad brought me up to love the Buckeyes..it's the same in all of college...Pennsylvania = Penn State..

Michigan has MSU and UM..they started with UM but had so much garbage they needed to start a 2nd pile..hence MSU was spawned..

Texas = Longhorn Country..

Florida is divided by FSU Florida and UM

i dont know maybe its just me then...i always found it hard to root for a college team if:
A. Nobody in my family went there or has any ties to the school
B. I dont have a snowballs chance in hell of going to the college

im not a computer, so dont yell at me, im simply stating what i think the reasoning is behind it.

Read my post again. I wasn't yelling, just saying I didn't agree with your reasoning. I guess if someone disagrees with your opinion it's yelling.

The reason is the computers have Rutgers with a better strength of schedule. Which is also ridiculous. Computers should not be used to determine one football is better than another, period.
