Not a monumental loss, but Beckman was a good coach. It will be interesting to see who they get to replace him.

Beckman's replacement is a linebacker coach? The guy was a DC for a while, so he should know something about defense and should be able to help with the defensive game plan and what not, but can he teach a DB proper technique?

Hopefully he's also a recruiting specialist. You can never have too many good recruiters on staff.
