Surprised there wasn't a thread already for this game. I've been waiting a long ass time for this game to come out and according to IGN, the wait was worth it.

Edit: I would spell the title of the game wrong.

I'll wait for a few more reviews. He has me interested in the story though. I want to know what the twist is this time, because Bioshock's was one of the best in a game I've seen.

Pre-ordered it on Steam. Got a free copy of BioShock (which I already owned, so a giftable copy), a crapload of TF2 items that I will probably later sell for five to ten bucks each, and a free copy of the XCOM: Enemy Unknown, which I wanted to buy when it released but never got around to and is still retailing for fifty bucks on Steam. Not a bad haul for a game I was going to buy anyway.

So bottom line...pre-order this shit on Steam if you're going to buy it.

Been playing this game all afternoon. Pretty awesome. Not a huge fan of the checkpoint system, though. They're spread really far apart, so if your game crashes (and mine has twice already), you're going to have to replay ten to fifteen minutes of gameplay. It's really the only complaint I have thus far. The game looks great, although the graphics aren't nearly as pretty as, say, Tomb Raider. Still, art design goes a long way.

Some screenshots...

Pretty scenery.

I have a feeling Notorious and a lot of the other people posting in the political topics would really love this society...

Time for some good old fashioned racism.

The first hour of this game seriously has a fuck ton of racism...

The ending Lincoln should have had...

And yup, these are all from the PC version running on Ultra.

Just pre-ordered it off of Steam. Pre loading it now. Cant wait to play it.

You people are the worst influences. Did the Green Man Gaming deal (Infinite + Original Bioshock, XCOM, and extra game and credit/cash) and downloading. Slowly.

Jack.. You just made me want buy this game.. And that's a feat unto itself.

It was the abundant racism, right?

Yep.. I'm very shocked.. But to be honest, it takes balls to put that kind of racism in a video game, and I'm intrigued to see where the story goes. I love the concept they're shooting for, and wanna see it play out.

So few good RPGs these days.

Yeah I'm so bored of everything else, and I'm a huge fan of the Bioshock series. Think I will purchase on 360.

Yea I'm grabbing it on 360. Hope it doesn't suffer much from the PC version.

This is the same reason I liked Django Unchained, very hard to put that level of racism in a game/movie/show/book without backlash of some kind.

I was wondering about that... not the racism however the fact If this Is more of A FPS or RPG. I never played the other Bioshocks However I love the art style In the pictures and the fact this was placed around the 1910-15 Ish time. So Is this more RPG than shooter?
