Bogut injured in workout, may miss start of season
Associated Press

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut will likely miss the beginning of the season with a lower left leg sprain that is expected to sideline him for six to eight weeks.

Bogut was helped off the court during a team scrimmage on Saturday after banging his leg into Steve Blake's knee. He did not return to the scrimmage.

Bucks coach Terry Stotts initially said the injury was not serious. But the No. 1 pick in last year's NBA draft was evaluated by team doctor John Heinrich on Sunday, and the Bucks said Monday that Bogut will undergo rehabilitation.

Indeed you were right TJ Steve Blake IS very efficient :chuckles:

Is this board really that dead? Bump

I haven't figured out if I like or hate Bogut yet...all I remember is that big-man passing clinic he put on against us last year. What I say though, sucks to be them.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :thisguy: the sucks

he realizes the season is over before it began now

TJ has been extremely busy but unfazed by this injury. The Bucks obviously are a better team WITH Bogut but do have a solid backup in Gadzuric who has been a starter in the past. I expected this team to start slow due to their youth and the influx of new players. The Bucks probably will play their best ball after the break. The well rested Bogut should be in the full swing of things by then.

The Bucks are 1 year away yet but will still make the playoffs and give hell to any team not named Miami.

OMG... Please don't ask TJ about Dan Gadzuric..

PLEASE DON'T...

Hmm...so if the National Analysts are calling Cleveland a title contender...and our players are talking about a title and your a year away...by deduction that means we're better.

So you've come around?

No. If they met in the playoffs, I see the Bucks issuing the Cavs a Pedigree after a sledgehammer to the belly.

Besides, how can you depend on the sky high drunk ass on the left....

Oh just like they did during the season right? Yeah I bet..your lockdown defender Bobby Simmons might keep LeBron under 75 ppg in that series...but thats a huge if.

I'd be more concerned with Orlando I think they're eclipsing you guys this year and your back to the lotto..

Toronto will have a better record than the Bucks...
