Sacramento would trade Bonzi to the Pacers for Jeff Foster and Sarunas

Not a great trade for indy, but the salaries work. Indy is getting fleeced twice by Sacramento..

But why is Sac Town doing this? They have Reef and Miller in the post and they have Bibby at the one.

Sacramento want a blue collar guy in the post. Miller and reef are flashy numbers players but things like defense dont appeal to them. Sarunas and Bibby can play together at times. This deal makes sense for Sacramento. Indy, i'm not so sure.

I really like Foster as well, he's a bigger AV the way he attacks the glass and flies around..basically with more defensive bones in his body.

If you think about it Indy really has fallen off. Top 10 player in the league in Artest..gone with no compensation.

Artest for Peja..Peja leaves, and they get nothing. They would have been better off dealing Artest for picks and tanking with JO and Tinsley hurt and trying to sneak into the lottery and possibly getting a guy like Gay Marcus Williams or Roy.

Foster is a good fill in center, or off the bench. He works hard, but to me isn't up to starting full time.

I really do like Foster's game. But he doesn't have a great body to maintain starters minutes. He has had a problem staying on the floor of late. But he certainly is the the prototype bigto pair up with (not replace :chuckles: )Ilgauskas.
