I'm about halfway through Light Bringer, the new Red Rising book. It's been great thus far. It's a page turner like Dark Age, the previous novel, which has a sort of Storm of Swords feel where the author just wantonly kills off about a dozen significant characters. This book has only killed off a couple so far, but I have no doubt that's changing soon.
If you're in the mood for a space opera, Red Rising is a pretty good choice. It's The Expanse directed by Michael Bay, but like The Rock era Michael Bay.
Edit: I read another fifteen pages and shit did indeed go down.
