Also this story is straight comical. They brought no new info to the table just repeated dumb stuff that was slanted. And on that nonsense that the Pats sent lower level staff to steal play books. I ask this who the hell would leave there play calls laying in the boating locker room.
I thought the article was pretty fair actually. They make it clear that most of the people they talked to had no hard evidence and were partially jealous of the Pats' success. But it also makes clear that most of the league thinks they cheat, and in some cases knew that they cheated and would put dummy play sheets out for their people to steal.
The big thing I took away from the article was how there is a "go along to get along" attitude with a lot of people in the league that is content with everything not necessarily being on the up and up as long as everyone gets paid.
