Browns 2014-2015 Playoffs Chances

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I need someone to break down all scenarios where we go 2-1 as well kthnx.

Our one loss could only come against Carolina, and we would need the other wildcard possible teams to lose at least one game.

So, for tomorrow, if we win and:

-Indy beats Houston
-New England beats Miami
-Green Bay beats Buffalo
-Oakland beats Kansas City

All we have to do is win our last 2 games and we're in.

2-1 is definitely more likely.

I don't rule out winning out, though. The defense has been great. If Johnny can just get them down the field, into scoring range, we should be OK.

Only real threat is at the Rats. If we win Sunday, of course.

Wouldn't that be something though, given Cam doesn't play next week, that Derrick Anderson knocks us out of the playoffs, again, just like he did in 2007, except this time with a win.

As I pointed out above, we can still sneak in even if we lose to Carolina. It just makes everything a little more complicated.

Pinning our playoff hopes on the Raiders?

KC still has to play @PIT and host SD. All is not pinned on this week.
And if KC does win out, that gives SD another loss. They'd have to beat both Den and SF to finish ahead of the Browns. So we'd still be in fine shape.

If I'm not mistaken, if we lose to Carolina, we'd need Kansas City, Miami, Buffalo, & Houston to each lose twice.

Yeah.

If we had to lose a game, it would be Carolina, because we need to beat Cincy and Baltimore to have tiebreakers over Pit and Baltimore. But we'd need all the other WC teams (except one) to fall to 8-8.

Yeah, you're right. It was late at night when I was working it out and thought I had it :chuckle:

Yep, our odds drastically shrunk by inserting Manziel in. :fight (12):

Vegas disagrees with you. They barely went down and depending on how he plays Sunday they could be even better according to Vegas.

I was referencing more the irony of that, if it did happen.
