Browns Adding to Game Day Experience

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
but once again, don't tell me revolutionary.
To be fair, I don't think anyone said they'd be "revolutionary." The objective was to maintain history, keep it classic, but rejuvenate the look with some exciting concepts.

If those first set of mockups are close, I think they accomplished just that.

Love those.

I suppose they're onto something with potentially adding "Cleveland" to the front of the jersey. Not that anyone needs help identifying the Browns (opening for jokes), but I suppose there hasn't been anything "Cleveland" on there.

I think they are taking a nod from the Cavs (who took it from LeBron's letter) and trying to promote civic pride.

I am a dickhead. This whole time I thought he said revolutionary, but he said "radical."

:banhim:

No matter what, if they are anything like that or even better, I like em.

Can confirm this to be real, if nobody else already has (haven't read through the thread).

Not sure about you guys, but I really like the white. I was also told that the Brown looks pretty sharp as well.

So it is real? How do you know? I'm not disappointed or doubting you, just wondering. What about:

To be fair to yourself, both of those words connote a large change. Adding orange pants and orange tops isn't really a big change.

Mixing in gray jerseys or gray pants, like a lot of people thought might happen, would have been something radical or revolutionary.

Some more attempts to scale up the leaks to full jerseys...but this one includes the outline of a penis to complete the look.

Never understood how these guys release something without the penis outline included. It's like turning in a paper with an introduction and conclusion, but no body.

I don't know about body, but it sure is missing the climax. IfyaknowhatImean. :chuckle:

Here is a mockup of the current "leaks". I saw this on reddit/r/browns.

I will admit it looks much better than hanging on the rack in that department store.
While not revolutionary, these are definitely a very modern version that pays homage to the classic design.

Assuming this is the case, looks like no stripe across the front of the jersey, otherwise would be visible.

Daryl Ruiter says that no retail stores have received the new gear yet. In this article he states that the only place that you will be able to buy the gear soon after the announcement is at a portable stand at the unveiling ceremony.

CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – There is no more closely guarded secret right now in Berea than the new uniforms for the Cleveland Browns.
Not even who they might take at No. 12 or 19 on April 30 is as closely guarded as the new uniforms. Select team employees and players have seen the 3 new jerseys, 3 new pairs of pants and redesigned helmet, but everyone is sworn to secrecy.

Over the weekend “leaked” pictures of the alleged new look hit social media like a firestorm, but the authenticity of them is in doubt. The reason is simple: retailers will not start receiving the new jerseys for sale until after they are unveiled next Tuesday evening at the Cleveland Convention Center.

The Browns spent nearly 2 years working closely with the NFL and Nike on a whole new look for the team, which has seen just minor tweaks to the uniforms over the decades. It is anticipated that what will be unveiled next week will be a radical new look for the team, hence the angst and excitement that is building with fans.
In an effort to prevent leaks from retailers, the new merchandise will not be available for purchase around town immediately. However, fans anxious to get their hands on the new threads won’t be left out in the cold.
The Browns will have a portable team shop at the Convention Center set up for selected season ticket members who were invited for the event to purchase them onsite and the team shop at FirstEnergy Stadium will open for a few hours after the reveal for the general public.

If you won’t be downtown next Tuesday night, the team’s website ClevelandBrowns.com will also be ready to take orders for the 3 new jerseys.
The “orange carpet” event will run from 6-8 p.m. with the Browns television partner, WEWS NewsChannel 5, broadcasting a 1-hour long special of the reveal from 7-8 p.m. at the Convention Center.

You have to upload it to a hosting service of some sort.

Just search for image hosting via google.
