Browns Adding to Game Day Experience

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
https://www.clevelandbrowns.com/

Very interesting new design/logo on Browns.com.

Check out the vintage/brownie the elf look. I’m going to assume jersey changes will follow this trend toward a more classic look once again.

Looks like they’re trying to maneuver towards the brownie logo full time.

I personally love it.
That’s fantastic. I guarantee they will sell a hell of a lot more gear with the elf and a lot more jerseys if they go back to an old school feel.
The current jerseys are just....blah

I'll be making it a point this year to buy elf gear if they make it. I support the vintage logo idea.

To follow up on this, on their shop for jerseys, they even have this type for a handful of players:

Now I don't believe we should touch the helmets. Leave them plain orange. (I just can't think of a cool way of putting the elf on the helmet w/o just pasting him on there. For example: a mini signed Warfield helmet below)

But the 50 yard line, more memorabilia, and for god sakes, just the damn logo. I hate seeing when we play the panthers or someone with a nice logo and we see a panther vs a helmet.

The next RCF bet loser has to shake hands with a person that has those fingers.

I’m so tired of the outdated Brown color and the elf. It’s painfully clear that the majority of this fan base is old and set in their ways. There is literally nothing positive about the shit color brown and a badly drawn cartoon character from the 1960s.
All they represent is a memory to the past when the Browns were relevant and winning.

It’s about to be 2020 soon. I think it’s time we came to the realization that it’s ok to let the past be the past and let this team find a new identity.

(Gunmetal Gray, Orange and White should be the new team colors, IMO )

I'm a "millennial". :hay:

Gimme some elf.
I’m a millennial as well. But I find nothing good in bringing back a terrible looking cartoon character from like 70 yrs ago.

Please give me your honest reasoning as to what you like about the Elf?

History, appreciation, and a tip of the cap to what keeps the Browns so relevant in these doldrums.

One thing about millennials; we tend to disregard anything that happened in the past as insignificant.

Having no brown in the Browns uniforms would be very fitting

Not sure if this is a sarcastic comment or not, but I will leave this bit of info here anyways...the brown color of the uniform is not tied to the name of the team “Browns”. In fact the name comes from honoring their current coach back then, Paul Brown. Furthermore, the color scheme was stolen by Paul Brown from Bowling Green U, because he liked the color combination.

I know that. The casual Facebook warrior fan doesn't. When ESPN rolls out a story mocking the Browns for switching the brown to grey that history lesson will get buried.

If your last name was Brown and you were starting a business that had your last name in the business name, what would your colors be?

That new (or old I guess?) take on the elf is awful. Makes us look like a little bitch boy... although we do like that trait in our QBs.

I think you misspelled Colt McCoy. Lol

I always have found this criticism pretty funny. Icons don't do that, performance dictates it. Seems "inferiority complexy."

Also, nothing says "I am hung like a mouse" like campaigning for the Korn verison of Brownie the Elf.
