Right, I noticed, hence my question. I had never noticed him on the field before today.
The play by play guy for this game was pretty stout. He would always tell you who was on the field (what packages the offense and defense were using), and always tell you who made the tackle, or even multiple guys who helped make the tackle. I like that. I'm not big on most color guys, as they normal don't have anything good to say, but I do like the play by play guys just b/c I don't always catch the number on the Browns players, or for the other team I often don't know the players just by their numbers. This guy took it a step further with the packages, and all the personell changes, which is something that isn't always easy to see on tv, especially the personell part.
Most analysts of any sport tell you too much info as if you've never seen the game before...but for those that watch sports regularly it's very annoying..
He shoots a 3..and that means they go from 76-79 now..it's like no kidding..now break down this new defense they're running..
I like guys who have played or coached calling games..that have personality but aren't egotistical jackasses that draw from the game..
