Browns @ Falcons Game Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Our line is so bad..ughh

glad to see the Browns get a win, to bad for my damn patriots.

I love how I still haven't seen ONE ****ing highlight of the game...

Is winslow considered the best TE so far this season???

Good game. Our defense stepped up again and pretty much shut down Vick for the most part.

Maybe I've been under a rock or something, but who is Leon Williams?

Late round draft pick from ---> THE U

He didn't even start on the 'canes.. But, he did play well when he did play, and on special teams.. The Browns thought highly of him, and I see why...

He's an athletic freak..he was drafted on athletic potential with hope McGinest Romeo and Grantham could mold him into a solid LB..

He lined up at end and shadowed Vick as a Spy..didn't rush just kept on eye on him incase he tried to tuck and run.

Oh yeah, I remember him now. I was slamming that pick pretty bad, since he wasn't even a starter in college. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong.

Right, I noticed, hence my question. I had never noticed him on the field before today.

The play by play guy for this game was pretty stout. He would always tell you who was on the field (what packages the offense and defense were using), and always tell you who made the tackle, or even multiple guys who helped make the tackle. I like that. I'm not big on most color guys, as they normal don't have anything good to say, but I do like the play by play guys just b/c I don't always catch the number on the Browns players, or for the other team I often don't know the players just by their numbers. This guy took it a step further with the packages, and all the personell changes, which is something that isn't always easy to see on tv, especially the personell part.

Most analysts of any sport tell you too much info as if you've never seen the game before...but for those that watch sports regularly it's very annoying..

He shoots a 3..and that means they go from 76-79 now..it's like no kidding..now break down this new defense they're running..

I like guys who have played or coached calling games..that have personality but aren't egotistical jackasses that draw from the game..

Rich Gannon = great analyst..

Bernie Kosar may be the greatest football color guy I've ever heard.

Btw cdt, Gannon was the color guy, not the play by play man. Not that he did a bad job or anything, he was fine, but the guy I liked was his partner.

Herbstreet is a real good color guy. I'm really liking Flutie of late too.

It's a little funny when you talk about the Cavs broadcast and say:

"Fred Mac is awful, but the Color guy is great"... (Scott Williams) :chuckles:

It sounds so racially motivated...

No one says it about AC so you can't use it on that one lol..my brother is 11 and goes that guy sounds like a garbage disposal :chuckles:

Oh...can anyone tell me how Charlie fumbled on a HAIL MARY? I'm still curious about this one...i was listening to it and I was baffled.
