Browns hire Rob Chudzinski

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Going to 3-4? Argh, d-line was the best part of our defense.

You're a moron.

Nobody is claiming this is going to change the Browns, but to give him no credit for producing with the talent he's given is absurd.

Go to bed.

Oh the name calling to the cut down, good argument tough guy.

Actually, our d-line fits the 3-4 very well. Got a NT and some dominating DEs.

Sheard did a lot of pass rushing out of a standing position. But the rest of the LB's...ehhhhhh

Not pleased with the 3-4 possibility. We need a 4-3 DE, a corner and a safety, it's a draft and FA with plenty of those available. With the 3-4, we have the fat boys, but not much at linebacker. Something else to consider is whether it's a 1-gap or 2-gap. Wont know that until we see the DC.

Personal attacks not needed in this thread. Arguments based on something other than "just because" are fine.

Why not wait and see if Cam takes a regression this year and then decide?

Too logical? Probably...

I'm guessing you looked at his rushing stats?
Have a nice night lmao

Agreed. I'm interested to see how/if Robertson fits in, he was easily our best coverage linebacker last season. Hope we find a role for him somewhere.

Is it normal for a new head-coach to decide to switch around the defense without naming a defensive coordinator? Does that mean that they have a DC in mind already and just aren't going to name him yet? Or am I the only one who finds this weird?

Surprised to see the positive reaction to the hire in here, as I was not too pumped to bring in somebody that was fired as Browns Offensive Coordinator. Bringing Norv along softened the blow, as long as he calls the plays. No more of the situation they had goin with Shurmur/Childress hopefullly. I'll warm up to it I'm sure; I always do.

But switching to the 3-4? Terrible decision and I don't know why that news would be attached to a Chud hire; don't they have the 4-3 down there with Luke Kuechly at MLB?

About as normal as a Browns beat writer coming up with a story that doesn't involve their own speculation.

It makes my pants tight that actual football people nationwide are applauding these moves.

Gives me confidence that Haslam/Banner are doing actual work, not just pulling a Jerry Jones and going with only sexy names.
