Browns vs. Texans Game Thread

I'm pretty sure Tampa had to win and we had to lose to jump them for the 3rd...

They might take Joe Thomas...lets pray its Calvin Johnson :pray:

Well its dependent on what other teams do. Before today, we had a tougher schedule by one game. Texans beat us with only six wins, and Seattle beat them and they had nine. That alone would give them a tougher schedule by two games...

We just need teams that have played us to lose, and their teams to win.

Good thing the Ravens did so well this year :chuckles:

I did some research...

Tampa Bay's Schedule Today

Baltimore = Likely to win
Atlanta = Close game
Carolina = Won
New Orleans = Lost
Cincinnati = Lost
Philadelphia = Close game
N.Y. Giants = Won
New Orleans = Lost
Carolina = Won
Washington = Lost
Dallas = Lost
Pittsburgh = Won
Atlanta = Close game
Chicago = TBD
Cleveland = Lost
Seattle = Won

Looks like that's a 5-6 record with 5 still yet to be determined...

Cleveland Brown's Schedule Today

New Orleans = Lost
Cincinnati = Lost
Baltimore = Likely to win
Oakland = Lost
Carolina = Won
Denver = Likely to win
N.Y. Jets = Won
San Diego = Likely to win
Atlanta = Close game
Pittsburgh = Won
Cincinnati = Lost
Kansas City = Won
Pittsburgh = Won
Baltimore = Likely to win
Tampa Bay = Lost
Houston = Won

So that's 6-5 record with 5 games yet to be determined...

So as of now, we'd have the third pick...

We want Baltimore to lose, Atlanta to win and Chicago to win...

Cleveland, wouldn't we want the teams to face lose and the teams the Bucs faced win? Not vice versa?

I'm so damn confused...do we want the tougher schedule to maybe look like we deserve the pick or the softer one to show how bad we suck?

we want the softer schedule...sorry if i wasn't clear. i drank a lot already.

I'm with you... :chuckles:

Just answer this: Do we want our opponents to have more wins or more losses?

And what about the Bucs?^

Tie breaker comes down to conference or divison play, and the Browns already covered that... #3!!!!!

The order of determining tiebreakers:

1). Strength of Schedule
2). Head-to-Head play
3). Coin toss

If Chicago wins, then Cleveland will get the 3rd pick... If they lose then Tampa gets the third pick... Correct?

Plain Dealer said third pick today....Not sure though.
