Cabs Magic 7pm Preseason Game 2

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Only caught the last 3-4 mins or so but quick observations from there:

  • Orl is absolutely massive. Their guards are like 6'3 or taller. They will have the size advantage against almost every lineup in the NBA
  • That said, we really need to show more on the glass. Every miss and its 3 white shirts around it
  • I did see Wade look way more aggressive on the glass than last season which is a plus
  • Okoro looked smoothing dribbling and I was not as worried with him driving it into traffic. I called the leap last year but maybe i jumped the gun by a season
  • DG had a real nice wrap up on one of the Orl guards (Fultz?) and just mugged him. I like a mean DG on defense. There is a limit to how good you can be on D at that size, but CP3 has shown you can make an impact with effort and smarts. Im hoping we see more of this from DG
  • We feel like a fake tall team. Mobley and Allen are big for sure, but everyone else is average or small for their position besides Emoni

OMFG MOBLEY WITH SOME HANDLE!!!

Looked super fluid and natural too

Struss already been declared starter.

I really think Koby missed out on some options last season like Saddiq Bey. Maybe Isaac becomes available?
Bey can't defend the SF position either. Both the Pistons and Hawks tried. He lacks the lateral quickness.

Seen enough of D Jones that if he gets any run it’s either a blowout or we have lost 4 of our starting bigs.

Team needs a better backup C. He has been awful.

Played half of the game and had zero impact for the team. No rebounds either.

Complete turd on the floor
Yes because there are tons of quality back-ups out there still unsigned smh
Don't be so knee jerk, it is the second pre-season game. You would have released Garland after the first game, right ?

He's a hybrid SF/PF that was had for cheap with size. I'd take my chances on a 6'7 guy with similar defensive rating as a 6'5 guy. :conf (8):

Good steal by Mitchell

Dunno what the rates on Wagner for All-Star are right now, but Id jump on that. He is looking really good

YIKES... if Wagner is going to step out to 30 ft with that kind of range

He moves off a Detlef trajectory and onto a Dirk goddamn Nowitzki trajectory

That was smooth
