Acy looks like he would be good for what we need if he can actually play SF and guard SFs.

Did he play the 3 a lot for the knicks??? anyone know??

in his highlights he looked to be playing the 4 a lot

He exclusively played the 4.
his game was mid range from the right baseline

What the fuck is this??!

don't be offended, I just don't see the point of rooting for a team outside of your state, what is the connection? where are your sentiments coming from?

You realize a large portion of the people on the board no longer live in Ohio right?
Hell we have a good sized international crowd too. You did not think this through young blood.

If only Acy could shoot or provide some type of offense, he'd be a hot commodity. He is an excellent defender of the three point shot.

Out of 267 players who defended 1.5 three pointers per game, Acy was #1, allowing a 23.2%, 11.2% below the percentages the opposition shot against everyone else. He's also a good ISO defender (top 30%), and an average post defender (52% are better than he is).

Well, calling me young blood I guess if 26 is young which is a compliment but you are using it as an insult or lack of experience but if you are over 26 then you must be old as fuck in your world.
What is there to think through?
Guys are stepping in for others it seems, the comradeship here is impressive, I wanna join in!
Did you move from Ohio to Tampa?

You think people over 26 are old? Not sure what to say to that.

Yea he's just so bad offensively. Like the Reggie Evans of perimeter players.

Last time we overpaid for Mozgov ( yes it was a good trade for us but an overpay)
Cavs best chance to get a player in mid season season using the MLE is if a team decides to tank mid season.
And yet we still overpaid for Mozgov to a tanking team.

Dude, you sound ridiculous.

I'm from Cleveland, Ohio - as many of us are. But many aren't.

When I root for teams, it's not always because I'm from their state. I rooted for San Antonio as my second team for 4 years, not because they were the best team, but because they played basketball the right way.

I live in Los Angeles - wouldn't root for the Lakers if my life depended on it.

My home is not Cleveland though, it's Hawaii - and always will be. I wouldn't think of ever living in Cleveland again, but, I'm still a Cavs/Browns/Indians fan. My "sentiments" are with the Aloha State, not Ohio; but I'll die a Cavs fan.

You sound like a guy who has not travelled much, or seen much of the world, let alone our own beautiful country. I highly doubt if you had, you'd be so disparaging of others who choose to live elsewhere.

Lastly, for the fans who aren't from Cleveland, they very likely picked the Cavs - for whatever reason - and choose to stick with them.

Anyone who has been with us during the rebuild is a fan in my book - I don't give two shits where they are from.

You on the other hand have only been with us since May; so as far as I'm concerned, you don't have a lot of room to call out others here on this board.

Well said.

I've been a fan since 2003, you guys probably know the reason why. I haven't even been in the US, I'm from Japan.

I remember being excited for every draft night during rebuild. I also remember Anthony Bennett being drafted #1 and losing my mind.
