Cavs (5-1) @ Memphis (2-4) | ESPN - 8 p.m. Eastern

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I wonder how good we would have been with no Lequit or Love but with Wiggins Bennett and a bunch of other guys At least we wouldnt have all these newbies in this forum

Yeah, this is the first game I've really noticed it. In the past he looked awesome in the open court as a solid athlete with absurd handles and creativity. Tonight he just looks flat out explosive.

And he's going up against Mike Conley one of the best pg defenders, this isn't Andre miller who is being blown by

Difference between watching the game and going to cavs.com to look at a box score.

Dude has been hoisting bad shots, they're just going in right now.

What, you think I'm not watching the game? I've seen 1 bad shot from him out of the flow of the game, and that was a 1 dribble contested 3 that rimmed out. This guy can't miss one shot without people jumping down his throat. It's comical. Meanwhile, our PG is out there shooting the same % from the floor, doing the same ISO and breaking off plays that people jump on Dion for, and people are going "Oh, Kyrie killing them!".

These apologist can shut the hell up. Thank you.

I am a Waiters fan. Nothing wrong with acknowledging that he should realize he's the 4th option in this starting lineup. When the Big 3 are in he should be spotting up and cutting. Nothing wrong with him having 15 shot attempts within the offense but this iso long 2 shit is inexcusable with 3 better players on the team and a competent offensive Center. Play within the system ,and when he's out there with the 2nd unit he can dribble and create all he wants. But he's so caught up in wanting to be acknowledged, he's forcing the issue at times
I say Waiters should be the fifth option behind Varejao.

This is the NBA, you're not going to get a good shot every possession.

Dion's getting 1-on-1 opportunities within the flow of the offense and is hitting his best statistical shots on the floor right now. It's not like he's totally covered either.

Now if one was to really take some gripes with Dion's game it wouldn't be with his shooting tonight. Moreso his pace of play in the beginning of games. Dion just plays too fast for his body at times and ends up in situations where he is forced to turn the ball over in similar ways to Kyrie getting himself trapped in corners last season.

The key with Dion other than his emotions is definitely getting within the flow of the game early on as opposed to always finding a rhythm later in games which kinda gives credence to the thought that he'd be better off the bench.

I think Dion's going to have to be broken a bit this season in order to let the game come to him more. This team's situation seems like a great environment to do so.

Kyrie is playing no different than last year on offense. Dribbling the air out of the ball, iso every time down, etc. Waiters takes one bad shot and it is a crime.

Responding to defense,
Guys you know that defense is mostly mental and motivational? You are not born with defensive qualities or atleast I dont think so.
when you are fighting for nothing like last year, why would you defend? you don't have the passion to win,, you will see we are going to be a good defensive team

Tony Allen is scary man I wish we had him

I wish LeBron would have stayed in Miami so half of the stupidity in these game threads would have never happened.
Yeah, it's pretty pathetic. I really don't understand how dion is so polarizing. I saw one iso and the same couple guys complained about it for a page.

This also doesn't seem like the offense we're supposed to be running...there's a lot of standing around.
