It's not really panicking. The ball usually stick with Kyrie or Waiters than it does with any other players on the team. Those two need to realize that they're no longer the 1st and 2nd scoring options anymore.

I like that Tristan is actually using his athleticism now. I don't know if it's coaching or he's just decided to play different, but he looks so much better this preseason.

I just can not believe what I'm seeing when I watch Tristan shoot free throws. Go back to years 1-2 and don't just look at the awful FT% but the form and even how ugly the makes were. That type of transformation is brought around by one thing. A massive amount of hard work and practice. Those two things are the qualities that I really believe will lead to him developing a better jump shot and range as each year goes by. So by year 6-7, he could truly be the type of player that we assume Chris Grant envisioned. In any event, yes get this guy locked up, let him keep learning from good coaching and good vet teammates and watch him blossom even further.

How can a guy play in the NBA for this many years and shoot free throws like that? Hire yourself a coach.

Probably the inverse reason that you could NEVER play in the NBA.. Hire yourself a dietitian, coach, and special Genetic Engineer...

Agreed. I love how if TT isn't making every single shot and every single free throw, shooting 3-pointers with his eyes closed and dunking with a running leap from the FT line, he should be traded or sent to the D-League.

Relax. I'm not overreacting. I've seen every game of his career. He still to this day is uncoordinated on offense. He can't finish consistently under the rim. He's still doing the same exact move every time when he tries to get by his man. I would also disagree that he's shown more explosiveness. He's still taking too long to get his shots up at the rim.

Correction, he can't finish consistently THIS GAME. If you have watched every game of his career, like you just said, you should have been watching how well he looked every other game this preseason. Added a little hook he has used with both hands, looks better rolling off screens, looks better at finding the open spot in the lane when a perimeter player penetrates, has made 3 jumpers that looked very good, including an and-1 jumper, and has finished with pogo sticks around the rim at a frequent pace. You are overreacting because this is the 1st game I've seen where he has struggled around the rim this year.
