Cleveland's season-long defensive rating has been improving for nearly a month, to the point where the Cavaliers now rank 15th during the course of the season and sixth in the league in the past 10 games, per NBA.com/Stats.​

Is the Cavs true defensive ability what we saw over this span or what we've seen lately?

Something has got to give here. I think it's the former and we will see it again come March.

since lebrons return, we are officially the most efficient offense in the league. Miraculously, we are bottom 3 in assists ratio. Highest in offensive rebound percentage by a strong margin. middle of the pack in points off turnovers and opponent efg, and in the last 3 games we are third in the latter category. 4th in fastbreak points. Top half in opponents points in the paint.

7th in the league in defense rating over the last 3. very small sample size, but its a start. All of these are trending upwards.
