There is pressure in a lot of things in life. Of course there is pressure when shooting FTs.

The fact that 2 people have successfully shot over 90% for their career tells me that pressure doesn't affect FT shooting. If it did, I believe it would be an impossible task. 2 people have done it, not impossible, practice makes perfect kids

Yeah, hence my last post. But I fail to believe there are honestly 2 people in the history of time who can handle pressure (who can also shoot well).

I'm not sure what is so difficult to understand about this entire thing. It's not just about the pressure. It's an entire enormous combination of factors, which we have already discussed here previously, pressure being only one of them. When you account for all these factors, imo, it is absolutely amazing that there are even 2 guys who have hit 90% over the course of their careers. It's a phenomenal tribute to how special Nash and Price are as NBA players.

Again, one extra miss....ONE EXTRA MISS....out of 10 takes you from 90% to 80%. I would love to see any of these youtube guys who make hundreds of FT's in a row do the same things playing in a professional basketball game. They never would. Ever.

It's seriously sad that some people don't appreciate how hard 90% in a career is to accomplish.
