Leon Wood has been sucking all game. He called that flop from Rio as a charge on Delly and he totally missed that goaltend TT got on the UD shot.

Its just a preseason game but, cmon Leon.

I only caught the first quarter, but the charge on Delly was egregious. A defender shouldn't be rewarded for deliberately drawing contact 60 feet from the basket. Props to Chalmers for the acting though, he sold that baby.

I wonder if lebron's back is bothering him worse than he lets on. He just didn't look very fluid or athletic out there (by his standards) and he did a lot of standing around and resting on defense. His passing was good but that will always be there no matter if he's hurt. A nagging back problem could also explain why he's seemed out of sorts.

But man, do we have a lot of depth. Irving out and Lebron seemingly playing at half speed and we STILL had a tremendous offense. I caught myself thinking -- if last year's team had just managed to get K-Love and replaced Brown with Blatt, with no other changes, then we would still have been looking at 50+ wins easy.

From looking at the KLove/KIrving party videos, it appears LBJ was also there. I think this in large part, explains the above. I got to give Love credit, that man can get out of bed and go to work in the morning.

There was a lot of talk in the Waiters thread, about trading Dion. I must have posted six times, that no way do we trade him. To me, it's never been in question that Kyrie is going to miss games, it's how do we fill in and keep the train rolling. Dion, KLove, and LBJ, can still win some games.

I watched a lot of the game and quite frankly it was boring to me, knowing it was a preaseason game and the players looking like they were in preseason mode.
of course in the OT , I was watching intently.

Heat fans are delusional I went to their game thread to get their view point and they are talking about Nappier becoming cp3 in a few years and Ennis taking over wades numbers... They also said the game would have looked very differently when mcbob gets back... They seem to be expecting him to be a big game changer. They also seem worried about wades competitive edge and whether he is still there mentally to lead the team.

The regular season will be when the reality sets in that they are not going to the Finals again, or even the ECF.

They do have some people that are realistic over there.
