I saw a trade on realgm posted from a Portland mod and it looks like there interested in Collison, so why not make it a 3 way with us?

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...731~2754~2795&teams=25~22~22~5~25~5&te=&cash=

Port gets there legit backup big in collison and a pg-sg prospect in weaver
OKC dumps collisons contract, gets back an expirings and young pf/c
cavs get potentially a starting sg and pf.

final rosters:
port:
Blake/ Sergio/ Weaver
Roy/ Rudy/ Bayless
Batum/Outlaw
LMA/Collison/diogu
Oden/Phzbilla

damn there deep

okc:
watson/westbrooke
mason/wilkens
durant/wally
green/joe smith
petro/ sene
(much more balenced)

cavs:
Mo Will/ Delonte/ Snow (retire)
Webster/ Boobie/ Kinsey
Lebron/ Pavs/ Jawad
Big Ben/ Wilcox/ JJ hickson/ Darnell J
Big Z/ AV/ Wright

Webster and Wilcox ??
Do you think that makes us better ??

ANd Why the Thunder would want to have Wally again ??

you think we can't get more for Wally then these two losers? Come on man.... try again please. Were not going to take average players from a shi*ty team that would play a bench role on ours.

That would give us depth, and some players who could score off the bench. But i don't see Portland making that trade.....

Two losers? You must not know much about them. But the only problem is they are hurt. But Webster has good size, can shoot the ball very well and can defend, plus he is very athletic. Wilcox is an average defender but can score around the basket and is very athletic. This would be a move that would'nt mess with the chemistry but would give us 2 more solid pieces off the bench.

It adds depth for sure, it keeps our starters the same, it adds the much needed experienced fouth big plus wilcox can play center. Webster is a decent defender and athletic, but i am not sure you would consider him a "good" shooter by anymeans. He is 22 and has room to further develop and Wilcox is only 26. Both are NBA players, and Webster could possibly develope into a good starter one day, but has maybe a 25% of that happening. Adding youn nba talent is always a good thing as we can package some of that talent next year along with Ben to get back a superstar right before the 2010 frenzy without leaving the cubbards bear. If you notice, Ferry is trying to collect as much young talent as possible. They might not be starters, but young players who can play in the NBA is always desireable. We might be overvalluing Wally's contract. I would do the trade, I dont think OKC does, but what do I know.

I don't know if OKC does it, but they most likely do want to save the money of Wally. So maybe.

I am calling them losers compared to what we can get for Wally. Our team doesn't need anymore depth, we are one of the deepest in the NBA. I don't think Webster would come in here and start like he said and I don't think Wilcox makes us any better than we already are. We need to trade Wally for an All-Star not bench players which we are already in excess of.

I think that you are over rating Wally's contract. He isn't by himself going to land him an all star. We would need to trade Delonte, Boobie, JJ or DJ3 as well to get an all star. This trade doesn't make us lose any thing, and improves our depth to the point were we could literally have a 12 man rotation if we got Wally back.

Now I remember why I stopped coming to the Trade Ideas section...

hot garbage...does not play winning basketball

Might I just say that this is a garbage argument. I agree that Maggette is not worth the time or effort, but saying someone doesn't play winning ball is dumb. KG, Ray, Pierce. All losers until last year. Maggette had never been in a great situation so that is why he has never won.

Why in the world would Portland want to part ways with Webster and Frye and get Collison and Weaver?

First off, Webster >>>Weaver
Secondly, Frye>>>Collison
And finally, Frye's contract is over this year, whereas Collison still has 3 years, 6 per left. Don't get me wrong, I would do this in a hot second, for I love Webster's game, but man oh man..

Dont ask me, a portland mod at realgm posted the proposal of Frye, webster for collison.

reasons im thinking: there overloaded at wings with Roy, fernandez, batum, outlaw, bayless and now webster.

webster is signed for 5 more years ?

collison is a physical backup big.

webster is coming off a injury and frye just sucks (why do you think hes better then collison?)
