Cavs Summer League (starts July 10)

Probably. I am also pretty sure we have done it with waiters and others before as well. Nothing new to sit out summer league games.

Yeah it is just odd why teams do it. Even more so in elimination games as I would think at least Christmas they would want in it.

It would make sense to take that particular game being shown NOT live off of the bottom score ticker but hey, it's summer league, its just glorified practice so knowing the score before the 1st quarter was over is no biggie to me.

The Cavs pretty much conceded this game from who they didn't play, not much else is said.

I haven't been able to watch the games, so what is everyone's assessment on Pointer's game. His stats certainly don't seem that impressive, but I wouldn't expect them to be for what was supposed to be an hustle guy.

Any chance he makes the roster?

Christmas is 3-14 total, hes a big, those are guard numbers. Summer league sucks but you have to perform better than that.

Personally, I wish Kaun was playing so we could get a look at him. Id rather bring Kaun over and backup Andy.

In fairness, his first game he was 1-9. Take that out (call it jitters due to his first game as a pro) and he's 2-5. That's still of tremendous, but not nearly as bad otherwise.

I agree with you though that it would be nice to see what Kaun can do up close. I would assume (and hope) that he's more polished than Christmas.

Shows an alley oops for Keifer Sykes which is pretty awesome because the dude is tiny, but goes up and gets it.

Christmas has a nice putback dunk. 4-7 shooting and 2 more blocks.

Sir Dom only took 2 shots but did a little bit of everything else. 2 blocks, 1 steal, 3 assists, 6 rebounds and 4-4 on FT's

I want Sir Dominic god damn Pointer to be on this team so bad. Having a late second rounder pan out would be fantastic.
