Cavs Ticket Questions, Policies, and STH Concerns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Keep watching......they will Rise

For those wanting to go to the Opener. The prices on flashseats are consistently going down.It appears that STH's and ppl who won the lottery are almost immediately putting their seats up for sale and undercutting each other daily. When tickets went on sale on Sept 26 on flashseats they have gone down each day. Outside of the first few days where I saw tickets being purchased between $300-$450 a ticket for anything up in Loudville they are now as low as $220. Since the sellers are not patient at all and not trying to establish a market, my advice is to monitor FS daily and I would not be surprised to see seats get sold for $175 a ticket by next week. (That is a bargain for this event) The people selling tix on craigslist, stubhub, and any other brokers site are not going to get anything close right now to what they are asking. IMO the off the wall prices people are asking for may only be met the day of the game or a few days before. Hope this info helps.

Oh and BTW, I got my opener tix ;)

You think $175 for Loudville is a bargain? I can pay for 3 months of cable for that and watch 30 games. Beers won't be $8 on my couch either.
For this event. Absolutely. Considering the demand has been sky high since LBJ signed back in July and Season Tickets sold out that day. ABSOFREAKINGLUTELY.

If you or anyone thought tickets would only be double face for this game , then hey Im with ya. Have fun on your couch pal.

I considered lowering my asking price when I saw several new listings with cheaper prices, but decided to keep it when I realized how many more tickets have been sold in the last day. Tickets are starting to sell quickly with everyone now realizing that they are out of other options.

What did you sell yours for?

I'm not your pal, buddy. Did you know my couch is stuffed with hundreds from not overpaying for things? :chuckle:

Edit: and how is $175 for Loudville only double? That is like 10x. Aren't those $10-15 tickets? I know it is going to be a sweet game, but 10-15x?

No, my Loudville seat that I bought with the presale was $105 face value.

I guess that is my point. The prices are going for 10-15 X what the actual face is and not double. But, something also to keep in mind It appears the Cavs are moving to a pricing format similar to what the Indians did last season. Where certain games were higher than other ones. For example the home opener was3-4X the normal price of a regular weekday game. When I accessed the face value for the opener the $28-30 dollar tickets were $67.

Its just with this game it not just the home opener its the "return" and will be an event for the City & Fans. It will be special. Hence the reason for the insane prices. That is why I think $175 is bargain for this.

If your couch is filled with C Notes, can we be friends? :D

Got two tix in the section next to where the Cavs come out for $300 w fees. I'm pretty excited. Yea it's the Pelicans, but I'm excited nine the less.

Ah....they are doing dynamic pricing. Didn't know that. Look, I am sure it is going to be a hell of a good time at the opener. I have a limit of what I can pay for games unfortunately this one is out of my price range. I hope you guys all have a great time though. I am jealous, but I have a budget.
