Cavs vs Bucks - Tuesday, Oct. 14, 7:00pm (FSO and NBA TV)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dude Blatt has these five scrubs playng together and looking competitive.

This is something crazy. Mike would probably still be playing Waiters so he doesn't look bad.

These last 5 guys on our bench have went toe to toe with Milwaukee rotation players and won

He's is a crazy good coach
I think the exchange with Lebron was about that. I think LBJ was impressed how Blatt made our third unit/folks-to-be-cut beat the upper half of the Bucks depth chart

we need to be going HARD after jared dudley w that TPE

bucks don't need him, he'll languish in obscurity w those young kids

great wing defender, hits 3s

then we can get rim protector w haywood contract and memphis pick

would you trade a 1st rounder for draymond green? Id take speights of the warriors hands too. They have the depth get creative David.

He's actually a shitty defender.

I love watching the deep bench play as a team. Some of the earlier lineups were a bit clunky, with players unfamiliar with one another, but you get a sense of how good the team could be when you see half the Canton Charge playing the way they're supposed to. We got to see more of what Blatt wants with low-talent guys who were comfortable playing together.

The roster still has obvious holes, but having a viable system is going to win the Cavs some games when they have a player down or when a player is resting on a back-to-back.

Abso-fucking-lutely. Draymond would be great for the Cavs. One of my favorite players in the league.

Nothing better than seeing your star player and your head coach getting along so openly out there. I just can't fathom that our third unit/cuts have directed the win in the 4th quarters of each of our first 3 games.

I actually was looking at the 5 we had out there in the last 5 minutes during a timeout and had a little chuckle to myself. To think, four years ago, these 5 guys that are fighting for roster spots were once of the equivalent value of our starting 5.

The only difference being that these guys - backed but an adept and coherent leader - seem to be able to close out ball games.

I'd trade the Memphis first for him easy, but GS wouldn't do it. Probably wouldn't even think about it before rejecting us.

I'm excited to see who they go after with that TPE, especially knowing we have a coach who isn't an idiot. I feel like Blatt will be able to influence that process and get exactly who best fits our system. Dude seems like the basketball Rainman (to clarify... Dustin Hoffman, not Shawn Kemp :chuckle:).

Jabari was impressive, Wiggins is impressive...at the end of the day Love is more impressive. Dude is fukkin money

I'm really impressed with the results Blatt has achieved in such a short time. His ability to get those results with the end of the bench is incredible. Top to bottom this team is so much better to watch play basketball than what we've seen in recent years. Great time for Cleveland basketball.

The Warriors would trade Harrison Barnes much more quickly than they would Draymond Green...

With the likes of James, Irving and Thompson out I was excited to see Love as the offensive focal point for this squad. Of course he didn't disappoint, and I knew the guy had a more than steady three point shot but is this dude always absolute money from beyond the arc? He has been ruthless this preseason, of course, its not really NBA-caliber defense he has been facing but tonight was no different with him going 5/7.

I thought Waiters showed up and was quite impressive, he had 14 of his 23 in the third and literally got the ball rolling.

If I can be disappointed in anything in a meaningless game, I will go with the interior defensive, or lack there of, I mean the Bucks outscored them by 12 in the paint. At some points, it looked like it was just too easy for the opponent. Sure, they are still trying to get everything down, scheme wise and need to get used to each other but I thought rarely would they be outscored in the paint.
