Warriors get- Hakim Warrick/Eric Snow
Grizz get- Al Harrington
Cavs get- Darko Milicic

The Grizz had interest in Randolph, so why not a similar player offensively with a more cap friendly contract. The Warriors get another sf/pf in Warrick who would fit that team very well and they can save some cap when Snow officially retires after 14 games. Then we get a solid defensive big with a decent midrange game who would be a good backup for Z but also insurance for Big Ben who has had back issues already.

The money works perfectly for all sides, plus we still have our main trading piece in Wally....

Great trade for us, especially if Gilbert is fine with spending the money.

Golden State gets a decent big and expiring for a guy who wants to leave, I think they'd definitely consider.

But Memphis gets a pretty bad deal.

:chuckles:mad:Darko......Man,you cant be serious.

We know Darko isn't the stud he was projected to be at #2 overall, but he's a very respectable, young center. He can pass very well, can hit an open jumper, and can block shots. If we can get Darko for just Snow's expiring deal, I'd jump all over it.

Darko is still a legitimately good player, not Melo Wade or Bosh good, but good enough to contribute to the starting rotation.

This trade idea is unrealistic and bias in the Cavs favor. I'm not sure why the Grizz would give up Darko for a Harrington. And I don't even think G.S. would be all that interested in the trade either. The trade idea clearly benefits the cavs as we give up a player who's basically retired, while the other teams give up key players in their rotation. This trade idea is rejected.

Lock this tread!!

Out of the talent you have moving around in that thread, I'd rather have Harrington than Darko.

I think Harrington is a HORRIBLE fit for us, pretty much a more athletic Donyell Marshall with less of a post game. Darko is at least a quality backup center.

But anyways, there's no reason for Memphis to even consider this. They're a young, building team. Harrington doesn't fit at all.

Very superficial analysis of the player. Darko isn't top draft pick good, but he still has something to contribute.

As for Al Harrington...
Donyell Marshall with less of a post game
Is that even possible?

And I do agree that Al isn't really a good fit for us. He wouldn't start, and that's one of his big priorities. He'd do more harm than good.

Too much money for darko. I would like to add him, but rather see pavs and filler for Darko. Not sure what else we have thats expendable, but snow saves us something like 12 million if we let him expire, plus we pay dark's 7 mill, plus 7 mill in tax....this year alone it would cost us 26 mill, plus darko is ouwed 7 next year....way to much money.

.
He's isnt good, why waste a trade on a player who avg 5ppg and 4rbds,when you can sign a d-leaguer to do that?He doesnt add nothing that make us a title contender imo.

We're not trading Snow, he's not medically able to play.

He'd fail the physical and would thus void the trade.
