Celts might be close to getting Nate Robinson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Biggest thing about this trade is Nate will take away shots from the Celtics starters, like Pierce, Rondo, and Ray Allen. Nate needs a lot of shots to be effective. This is a downgrade for Celtics.

House flourished in that system because he doesn't need shots to have an impact. He is constantly spreading the floor. Teams aren't deathly scared of Robinson's long-range shot like they are Eddie's, and if he is creating, I think any team can live with Robinson creating over Pierce or Rondo.

He doesn't really do much for them at all.

Does the Celts bench have a lot of firepower? Can't think of huge offensive threats off the bench. He should help a bit.

Anyone know what the final deal is? I can't find it anywhere.

who cares about this trade, didnt u guys hear we got Jamison. Good night boston.

Nate will get abused by this line up. Mo / Moon/ Jawad / LeBron / Andy.

I say whenever Nate sees the court, we should go with: LBJ/Jawad/Moon/Andy/Shaq :chuckles:

Yeah, their bench kinda sucks.

Nate will help in the fact that he'll provide some firepower for that bench..

But honestly, I was always worried about House from behind that arc. Nate - not so much.

I agree, House straight up scares me from 3. Well that's all he does, it's like a reflex to catch and shoot, and when he gets hot it's scary.

But I just checked and was surprised. Nate is 37.5% from 3 this year, House is 38.3%.

Yeah, but like you said, when House gets hot, it's scary. Nate's very streaky.

Spot on. If I remember correctly, that last game against us when Nate went 50% from the field, he was ice-cold for the entire first half and warmed up once he started jacking up shots in the third. He ended up taking 18 shots. No way he ever takes that many on the Celtics, especially behind Rondo.

Seems like a lateral move. Both House and Robinson are annoying player who can get hot. On the plus side we can post Robinson with pretty much everyone on our roster.

I'm not sure if Boobie has a post game. :chuckles:

Nate is a midget both mentally and physically...... who cares about this trade :).

Just to tell the deal:

Celtics get:
Nate Robinson
Marcus Landry

Knicks Get:
Eddie House
J.R. Giddens
