Anyone telling you to overlook the performances and potential of Drummond is just a waste of keystrokes. I'm not going to overlook 13/13!/2blks in 32 minutes from a 20 year-old Ford Tough-built seven-footer to delude myself about a 6-3 streak shooter that can't make layups or free throws.

No. It WAS a mistake. Not even debatable.

This is a totally original argument that no one has made before.

How would ESPN respond to Cavs fans outside the Q with picket signs saying enough is enough?

If the local media's not going to do it.. There's gotta be a way to put pressure on Gilbert to make change.

Ticket sales I don't think he cares. He's got billions.

Being embarrassed on Nat'l television, now you're speaking his language.

Don't you think he's already embarrassed by the losses? And of course he cares about ticket sales. You don't get that rich by not caring about revenue. As for embarrassing him...it's the losing that's embarrassing, and I think he's already willing to make whatever changes are necessary to improve the team. But he probably also thinks that firing a coach midway through the season when no viable replacements are available isn't going to improve things, nor is firing Grant going to help things now.

In other words, he's not going to let a pickets push him into moves that he think will actually make the team worse.

The correct POV is rarely original. It's usually fairly obvious and therefore boring. Things get interesting when folks just HAVE to be contrary. And if someone suggests Waiters/Drummond is a stalemate NOW or far far in the future...mind-boggling. Dion is more of a project than Drummond.

Honestly thought they would wait till the end of the season. Let the blow up begin.

Gonna close this for now. Will reopen if Wojo's report is wrong (but that's doubtful...).
