Might as well just get rid of Kiley, or put the two new yorkas on the same program.
Kylie and Bull. Let's just get all the new Yorkkas out of our Cleveland systems in one show.
I wouldn't mind Baskin to be gone either.
He seems like a really nice guy, and perhaps I'm just jealous of his made man status involving all things Cleveland sports. He strikes me as a softball dad who somehow got this position, he's tenured, and he's not going to do anything insensitive or egregious as Chuck Booms and get himself fired. That being said, I think Phelps can be interesting if he's paired with the right guy; that's not Baskin!
I actually think Les Levine probably has this gig in the bag, he's trying to slip in and collect Chuck Booms' salary. I think Phelps and Levine give you some of the best pure Clevelander vibes from radio talk show personalities.
Baskin wouldn't be bad first thing in the morning in Booms' slot.
I dog Bull a lot, because he likes baseball and football, and basketball last. Bull has the voice to talk about football, and football only. That's why I think Bull and Karman would be outrageous.
Lastly,
Who's voice you trying to listen to first thing in the morning: Booms? or Baskin?
Booms in the morning, with that voice, was a crazy decision to begin with. I can't tell you how many times I have been in a traffic jam, driving a stick shift puttering, stop and go, flipping back to 92.3 only to have these clowns talking about Manziel 24/7 and the shitty Cleveland Browns; drove me fucking crazy, roadrage increase by tenfold hearing that half-drunk sounding Booms voice.
This to me was what I envisioned in my head every time I heard Booms' opinion, like it was coming str8 from the mouth of this guy.
