CJ Miles & The Cavs Option

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: CJ Miles is *Allegedly* Elk Shyt (12-13 poster boy )

No....dude was paper thin....scrubbier than Mr. Nailon. He kinda reminded me of the rapper T.I.

Tarence Kinsey was paper thin, but didn't really score though

Re: CJ Miles is *Allegedly* Elk Shyt (12-13 poster boy )

wondering if you're thinking of Darius Miles

Re: CJ Miles is *Allegedly* Elk Shyt (12-13 poster boy )

No...it was Kinsey. I remember this forum (or another forum) keeping tallies on his assists because they were so few and far between.

That was actually during summer league a few years ago :chuckles: The Cavs put him at the point to see what he could do and he didn't pass.. we ended up waiving him after that needless to say.

Quote me now: CJ MILES is a poor mans Shabazz.

Note: They kind of look like each other.

Bout that time that we lay off him.

I agree.

He has averaged 18.5 PPG, about 3 rebounds and a steal per game in the 6 games Dion has missed.

As crazy as it sounds, by the numbers there has been no real drop off in production from the 2 guard spot filling in for Dion.

Now Dion is a better player, but raise your hand if you thought CJ could produce actually a little over the level of what we had been getting from Dion?

I know I sure as hell didn't see that coming.

Sadly I think CJ is like Pargo though and if he isn't starting and getting alot of minutes it really kills his ability to be effective.

Once he is back to bench duty Tuesday I expect him to revert to his natural form of being worthless.

Doesn't take away from the fact though that while he was filling in he actually didn't do a bad job.

I feel like a lot of bench guys instantly become better when they become starters, and I'm not sure why.

After reading this thread I have gathered that we have found this seasons Jamison

Re: CJ Miles is *Allegedly* Elk Shyt (12-13 poster boy )

This jello cooter knocks down a few shots in consecutive games and everybody forgets how his game resembles Shrimp & Rice vomit....

Look, I played with Todd Day, Doug Overton and Joe Klein... I have a barbwire tattoo on my arm that ushered in the tattoo movement... I had a seizure on the team bus after a game.. (read about it here: http://articles.latimes.com/1999/dec/18/sports/sp-45227)

He aint ready for this life or this stardom...

Case in point in the last minute of that game...Miles took the inbounds pass and never even thought about passing it over to Kyrie. I know, I wouldn't be saying this if he had made the layup, but my point is this guy's mindset is to put up a shot or die trying whenever he gets his hands on the ball. 1 assist in 41 minutes played last night. He has an assist rate of 5.2, which basically means that in 100 of his possessions, he takes 95 shots and gets 5 assists. He posted rates between 10 and 16 for the first seven years of his career, so he certainly has the ability to pass at a basic level, but this year Andre Drummond, JJ Hickson, and Tyson Chandler are among players with higher assist rates. At 9.7, Tristan nearly doubles his assist rate. In part this is just indicative of what a bad team the Cavs are, but Miles could help himself and the team by looking to distribute a little more.

Well, you probably still shouldn't be saying it because he was clearly fouled on the play as he was raked across the arm. But, the incompetence, or planned agenda, of those refs clearly precluded making the correct call. Not saying that CJ isn't a ball hog. But, I didn't have an issue with him attacking the basket on that play.

The best thing about CJ miles is his consistency, whether hes hitting or missing his shot selection is always terrible
