Before we all slit our wrists, in the next two days, we face Paulino and Davies.... Detroit gets Haren and Weaver. Really need to stop the bleeding here. And hopefully we get some icing on the cake and Tampa will part with Upton without getting one of our Big 4 prospects.

I think this team is to the point were they need to wake the hell up and play baseball. You dont start off the way they did as a fluke, I can see two to three weeks of good baseball then a fall off but that was not the case for us. This team needs a few pieces here and there which I understand, but this is a young team that should want to be proving themselves. When keep Orlando Cabrera on the team because he is supposed to be a club house leader and to be honest with you he is a piss poor leader because this team is playing with no heart. There comes a time when you cant blame the coaches, the owners, the front office or even our attendance(which last night the game was packed and we still sucked), it is the players on this team who get paid more money than many of us would ever dream of to play a game that us posters would play for free that need to step the hell up and play. How can you not be motivated, or passionate when your on a team in the playoff race in a city dying for a successful team. I can deal with losing when a team plays with heart and emotion but that is gone from the team, the attitude that they had in the beginning of the year is gone as well. Something needs to happen and it needs to start with our so called leadership and they need to piss some players off and get the passion back into this team.

The reason this thread was started is because the Indians stopped winning with the game threads up and no one bothered to make them.

Injuries is part of the game, I know that. But our manager plays the "numbers game" and starts OC, Hannahann, Kearns, and Marson, it's like he doesn't wanna win or something.
