"I think the Giants would be a viable option for him and vice versa." Can't say we disagree, as the Giants are in need of a center fielder and leadoff hitter. It's unlikely he'll return to Oakland, as GM Billy Beane is limited due to uncertainty over the team's stadium situation. Crisp, 33, batted .264/.314/.379 with eight homers, 54 RBI, 49 stolen bases and a .693 OPS this season.

I have a feeling you will be singing a different tune when you have to watch some combo of Michael Brantley and Shin Soo Choo in CF for a whole season:chuckles:. He has developed into a fine defensive CFer since leaving here, and if the club can't get the RHed power bat they covet for the OF or if it ends up being a 1B then I think their next target should be an above-average defensive CFer. Coco looks like the best one of those out there at the moment, although he is also the kind of player that Brian Sabaen would make a dumb contract offer to so I am not going to get my very mild hopes up.
