Sixers Give Wagner A Workout
Former Camden High School star Dajuan Wagner had a workout with the 76ers recently at their practice facility at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Wagner is trying to work his way back into the NBA after battling knee injuries and colitis over his three-year career with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Sixers president Billy King confirmed Wagner's workout and said he "looked good." ... The Golden State Warriors have been to Cherry Hill to watch Wagner play. Also, his agent, Leon Rose, said several European teams have shown interest, including Maccabi Tel Aviv.

My friend was telling me about some stuff he read on D-Wags recently. I guess as far as his healthy went, Wagner was a mess, even more so than was ever reported when he was playing. I guess it all started in high school with him and his insides were just all screwed up.

Some say it was a miracle he even played as well as he did for the Cavs when he was on the court. Anyways, he is apparently all patched up now after 6 or so sugeries, and now he is playing in the semi-pro leagues in gyms with no air-conditioning and poor lighting and he is just lighting up the competition with 50 and 60 point performances.

Hope Wagner gets back in the league. With all his health and family problems he has dealt with, the man has probably earned a little happiness.

An Iverson-Wagner would be absolutely hilarious to see. Especially if matched up against the Knicks and Marbury/Francis.
