I dont see how they can just start calling it when the guy has been doing it all season. Its probably some sort of traveling, but then traveling doesn't get called in the NBA really that much, so this is minor as far that goes. I don't really see how it helps any, but if he thinks it does then whatever works.

I didn't realize he was using it for any kind of advantage. I thought it was dj being dj. I don't care if he does it or not, if it doesn't hurt his ability to help the team. I've had to catch a couple of the games on the radio. So is he kicking towards the defender or just lifting his leg up? If he's charging towards the defender, i would think they would hold their ground and take the charge and it wouldn't help dj any then. When i saw him doing it, i thought he was using it to call out a play or ask for a pick. If that's the case, i have no problem with it at all.

i dont really get it. when i saw him do it when i saw the cavs play the wiz in preseason i didnt understand what he was doing. but i dunno seems kinda annoying to me.
