Is it out of the realm of possibility that any owner could ever be a decent GM? Why are those things somehow mutually exclusive?Dans willingness to spend is great but he's way to involved in things he shouldn't be. He's unable to ever take a step bak and trust the people he's put in positions of power.

That's the opposite of what we have heard for the past few years.Dans not selling. He's way too hands on. He enjoys running a team. And he's not hurting for money.

The rumors ever since LeBron returned have been out there. Google pulls up a bunch of results of different sources. He has also bought out a bunch of partners (because he can't get along with anyone) which makes selling teams more enticing.Where have you heard that he's interested in selling?

Give the guy a break...He's spent beyond any owner in the history of the NBA and brought the city a title...he gets a pass in my book
just wait until we beat them this year....GS is not invincible...their crying will be deafeningDon't tell that to enemy territory... https://www.goldenstateofmind.com/2...n-gilbert-golden-state-warriors-cavs-are-dumb
Shorter GSOM: blah blah blah loan shark blah blah blah 3-1. Even their comments largely see it as over the top.
And yes, even if 3-1 jokes are overdone, that situation and the Indians are not the same. I don't think they understand, too, that we have essentially infinite rights to be sore winners because of 52 years - and no, that's not the same as *one* of your many successful sports teams having *one* 40-year drought.
Lots of people are of the opinion that the Cavs did well with the Boston trade, some of the signings. There is reporting that says Dan's heavily involved. They arent but Dan is a crap gm.
I'm starting to think Gilbert saw what he got with Griffin steering the ship and he didn't like what he ended up with. I would tend to agree, Griff's moves were very one sided and lacked balance. So far Gilbert's moves through Altman are very balanced towards both offense and defense, and towards the present and the future.
