Have to disagree on this. I have no knowledge, but I just don't see Utah giving us Mitchell for Garland plus fewer picks than we gave with Sexton and Markkanen.
Sexton was a sign and trade so you would have reduce his value because of that. I've never been that high on Garland but at that point he was definitely worth more than Sexton and Markkanen combined. The league was really high on Garland at that time. Not just what he was at that point but the potential he still had. Even if Utah didn't want him, they could have found someone to pay up to trade for him.
