People are too obsessed with ball movement.
Yes, it is important. But a lack of it only becomes a problem with improper spacing. Player movement is far more important, which was present for virtually the entire game. We have players who have a distinct advantage in a 1-on-1 situation. It would be silly not to take advantage of that, we scored 113 points. The key is CREATING a 1-on-1.
If you watch Lebron's isolations on the elbows, the entire defense is shifted towards him, but are still remaining close to their man. It's up to Lebron to attack and make the proper read. Playing in between like that means that the defense will have to make a decision, and Lebron needs to exploit what they leave open as a result of that decision.
Isolations aren't inherently bad, the Bulls won 6 championships that way. They must be purposeful isolations, though.
Lebron did take some bad shots, and that's on him.
