I agree. If we plan to blow our load and take Trubisky at 1, my only hope is that we trade for #2 as well and take both. Even that seems far-fetched at the moment.... because word getting out that Garrett is going to be available at #2 is only raising the cost of that pick.Shitty movie reference, shitty morning given the rumors floating around about #1.
Not feeling great about it all right now.
Not to be a sour-puss, but Thomas will be gone by then, and I have my doubts on Barnett being there, too. With the Reuben Foster troubles, I could see the Bengals snatching up Barnett at 9.Trubisky at 1 would put two players on my board at 12.
Derek Barnett
Solomon Thomas
So do all these guys reporting Trubs at 1 lose credibility when it inevitable doesn't happen? No? That's the problem with journalism today.
Which sounds like best case scenario right now....I suggest everyone mentally bracing themselves for Trubisky at 1. It'll make it less bitter when we waste assets to trade up from 12 for him
It honestly just seems like a game of where do you want to waste your assets for a huge project at QBWhich sounds like best case scenario right now....
