D'Ernest Johnson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I always thought he was a solid back based on his game against the Cowboys last year. I had no clue he’d have the kind of performance he had tonight. He almost looked like a healthy mix of Chubb and Kareem on some runs.

Love this guy’s attitude. He’s a keeper.

He's really good at running with patience. Waits until the last possible second for a hole to develop if needed before making his cut.

It's a luxury to have Chubb and Hunt out and STILL have two guys with as much dynamic talent as Johnson and Felton.

For the way this team plays, was absolutely the right call to hold onto Johnson over Hodge

Wasn't the decision Higgins or Hodge?

Well, anyways I really didn't have any issues with the final roster. Always a fan of D'Earnest as the third back. He won me over last season and somebody at some point is going to give him a nice contract elsewhere. Good for him when a team wises up and does it.

The OL was good, but Johnson was really spectacular. He picked up a TON of extra yards with great cutting, balance and effort.
I love how it seemed like he's got this internal clock that tells him ok that's enough dancing/horizontal bullshit, now cut vertically and get some yards. Perfect mentality for how our run game works.

Major kudos to our banged up o-line. Fantastic job for the most part!

The Fox commentators were saying there’s gonna be a lot of trade inquires by other teams for D’ernest after this game.
