Dion played well tonight, but man did he take one bad shot and he traveled once. Cut him.

Dion's energy on D is the biggest thing he can bring.. when he does the rest of his game falls in place

Good game by Dion.

What we can hope for is that the vet leadership we have on the team is continuing to give him just the right mix of tough love/constructive criticism and positive support. That coupled with him week after week seeing what is necessary from him to help a winning team plus his trend of heating up as the season goes along are the positive things to hold onto.

You could see the coaching staff and players working with him in little spots of tonights second half. On the charge he was called for, as he was still sort of jawing with the refs or asking for an explanation, on the broadcast you could hear Blatt or one of the coaches calling for his attention, as if to pull his head back into the present and prevent him from dwelling on the call.

Then, on that 3 he missed, the pass that LeBron made to him was interesting, because as Dion trailed to the wing wide open while Kyrie led the break, the first pass from Kyrie probably should have gone there. I think LeBron saw that as he trailed to the other side and though LeBron could have made the shot or drawn a foul, he wanted to reqard Dion for his play and hustle and made the crazy pass to Dion in the corner. It's too bad Dion missed it, but was interesting to see LeBron recognize that and continue to try and keep everyone engaged and rewarded. LeBron truly is a general on the floor, but an inclusive one.

I still would like to see Dion gain the consistent good habits and right way to play while on this team(as we saw tonight), via tough love and great teammates, plus personal recognition from himself rather than having to cast him off and wonder if he will fulfill his potential elsewhere

They only won by ten. Who's to blame?

Man, do I ever love to see Dion contribute to winning basketball.

A couple more games like this, and he should REALLY help us come trade deadline. Good work Dion! Keep increasing your market value!

I don't particularly like Dion, but I'm going to laugh if he doesn't get traded.

Dion I like you. this is what it takes to add to a winning team! I saw him not mope and hustle and for once when things did not go right he kept fighting. Good for Dion please do this more so I do not have to have those thoughts of trading you, Please.

This was the best he's looked all season in terms of attitude as well as performance. Too bad he can't do this sort of thing all the time. That's why he's such a frustrating player because he seems to either be really good or really bad with very little middle ground. I'd personally much rather have a steady hand for a sixth man.

Wouldn't have a problem with Dion staying though, it's just that we're really in need of a center and maybe another player or two and there are already a lot of other players we really shouldn't or can't trade. Dion just isn't one of them.

It's amazing how many times, over the past 18 months, Dion has been said to be on the trading block by media members, "sources", RCF posters, and more. I was resigned to the fact that he was going out the door before last year's trade deadline, then equally positive he was going to be part of the Love deal or some summer trade. The list goes on and on.

But one thing remains -- he is still around. I don't whether that's a good thing but it is remarkable how many trade rumors have been attached to him. Perhaps as many rumors as the rest of the team combined (other than those Utah contracts, maybe).

He's a young guard on a rookie contract; unless someone comes along and blows us away with a trade, why would we move him?

Lotta folks act like he's making $15M or cash strapping the franchise. Be easy... IF we trade him, it should be to bring back someone of equal or greater value, not as a dump.

Yep which is why I think he won't be moved that easily, he's cheap.

Dion was the benefactor of a great floor game by Kyrie Irving. The Memphis game is a prime example of how devastating of a back court Irving and Waiters can be. Hopefully the team can build on this
