Dion Waiters

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You just exposed yourself for not even watching the games. If you actually watched the game against Houston where he shot 6-16 you'd realize a good amount of those shots were with the game pretty much over in garbage time. 4-5 of those shot were after the game was decided and Durant/Westbrook were pulled. It wasn't like they lost because of him. KD turned it over 4 times and Westbrook 8 times and if they hadn't, they would have put up more shots. Still played great defense with a couple blocks and even made it in the top 10 on sportscenter with this highlight.

Complete horseshit. I don't why you're so obsessed with the fact that he shot in "garbage time" considering he still played 31 minutes compared to Westbrook's 37 and KD's 40 and shot more than each of them in the lesser time. Plus like the other poster said he was actually able to pad his shooting numbers at the end of the game.

I have absolutely no idea why you have this insane obsession with Dion. Are you Dion Waiters?

Cavs record after trading Dion 3-5 OKC record after trading for Dion 4-2

Through six games since joining the Thunder, Waiters has averaged 12.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.7 steals in 27.3 minutes. His on-ball defense has been really good as well.

Yes, the Cavs are 3-5 because they lost Dion Waiters, not because, you know, their best player (and one of the best players in the entire league) was out for all but one of those losses, in addition to numerous other injuries to key players on the team. Hell, one of the guys we got for Dion hasn't even played a game for us yet.

Come on, man. JR Smith has been significantly better than Waiters since the trade and he was a fucking throw-in.

Dion's ceiling is a slightly better version of Rodney Stuckey...book it!

I supported Dion Waiters from the moment he was drafted to the day we traded him. But now, after these comments, fuck him. Wash our hands of him and move along with a now-revitalized JR Smith, Iman Shumpert, and my favorite addition: Soviet Popeye.

Aye guys, at the end of the day Dion is no longer with this team, and I don't know how anyone could say that at the end of the day he balled his hardest all the time when he wasn't making his shots.

And one more thing, I did enjoy watching him play when he was actually committed to playing hard, but at the end of the day that didn't happen as much as I would hope.

As someone who is pretty new to the Cavs scene I find myself astounded by the amount of attention a player like Dion gets. He is not a superstar but he has so many hardcore lovers and haters alike.
If there was a stat that measures the contrast between the amount a player influence his team and his ability to provoke feelings from fans and teammates, Dion would've probably been an All Star.

Anyways, everytime I see a debate about Dion in here, this Beatles song start playing in my head:
I've got a feeling, a feeling deep inside
"Oh yeah, oh yeah, that's right
I've got a feeling, a feeling I can't hide
Oh no, no, oh no, oh no
Yeah, I've got a feeling"

Well, good thing you didn't see the trade Kyrie threads or the Dion vs. Kyrie debate this board had last year.

If the rule is garbage time misses don't count then garbage time makes don't either, right?

Logged in to 6 alerts .. go check and sure enough qaws is so absolutely butthurt he went through and marked every post old.

Look man its not my fault that you have a poor understanding of basketball and couldn't predict that dion would be moved due to lack of skill and fit.

I suppose it could be considered old because much like AB it was clear as day to me that dion was not a winning player and i clearly outlined that long before he was moved

I'm at 30 "old" ratings in a row from Mr. Qaws within the last half hour.

Tell me about it.

Edit: He just "old"ed 20 more posts. That makes it up to 52 within the last 45 minutes. :chuckle:

I just got 53 "old" ratings from JSS2306 for praising Jr smith in the game thread :chuckle:
