now the key is to play better in the division. i believe i heard we have lost 12 straight in our division or maybe it's 12 straight on the road in our division. whatever it is we have to show up in the toughest division in the nba or we'll get rolled and be looking up at the other teams.

the better d and better offensive execution has been the key in the last three. let's hope it continues.

we just can't roll over for indy and detroit. 0-8 vs. those two just puts us in a big hole. milw is playing really well vs. tough contenders and chicago gave us everything we could handle last year.

those are the games i think we need to show the toughness to get and show that we belong in the playoffs. if we can't show up in those if we do go to the playoffs it will be a quick exit.

milwauke has played more home games than road games. at their current pace, they will only win 50 games this season. the bulls played everyone tough last year, but this is this year. they do not have the horses after letting davis and curry go to ny. they will struggle to finish at .500.

we are on pace to win 48 games, which would put us in the sixth seed come playoff time. we would probably face the sixers. we can beat them because iverson is a shoot first guard who refuses to get iguodola involved.

if ilgauskas goes down, we struggle to make the playoffs because we do not have a legit back up.

Its something like 6 of our next 8 games are interdivision. Have to improve our record there. Really taking our games at home and sneaking an away win in Chicago would be a good effort.

excellent point Karma...we have to win some fo the series with our divison rivals we split with everyone except Detroit and Indy last year who both beat use 3 or 4 times if i remember correctly...We have to be the bulls and bucks at least 3 of 4

Good luck with that George. It ain't gonna be easy. Cleveland definitely has the talent to play at .500 within the division, but realistically, that's the best that any team outside of the Pistons can hope for. I think the Pacers have it over the Pistons head to head (especially with Artest) and the Bucks have it over the Pacers head to head. I can't put my finger on the Cavs and the Bulls within the division. I think those two teams are the wildcards in intradivisional play.

The pacers are still a good defensive team even without artest. I think both the pacers and the pistons can finish above .500 in the division. Cleveland, bucks, and chicago will be fighting for .500 barring the bucks making game winning shots for the rest of the season.

My goal is a split with pistons/pacers, 3-1 vs bucks, 4-0 vs Bulls - 11-5 in the division.

i think thats realistic, although we should have beaten the bucks the first go around but oh well, we are the cavs

have you ever noticed that the team that makes the game winning shot often wins?

another insight would be the statistical importance of scoring more points than the other team.

as long as no team does too much of those key things, we will all be fighting for medicority in the east at .500.
