Yep, its my 5 year wedding anniversery :D. It was 5 years ago today I convinced my beautiful wife to stay with me for better or for worse. A decision she would soon come to regret, lol :chuckles: (joking)

And you thought I was going to say election day. ;)

Congrats, Lee. I just celebrated my 11th a few weeks ago. My wife, too, regrets her decision. ;)

i met her at the end of football season, and asked her to marry me right before. There is another woman in my life, her name is sports, lol. Actually, the only reason I dont watch all 82 cavs games is so I can spend time with the family. :chuckles:

I just make the family sit down and watch the game, we call it bonding time.

Wow, congrats Lee. 5 years for Lee and 11 for _amon

I'm still a newbie at 3 1/2 years of wedded bliss.

She is most likely cheating on you

I've been married going on nine years now...almost a full decade. Contrary to popular belief (and I'm sure the thousands of fifteen year olds on this board won't agree for obvious reasons), marriage is oddly worth it...most of the time.

You hit the nail right on the head with that one lol. I'm fifteen years old....and yeah.

Same here my man, 3 years and 4 months for me. We had been dating since 2001 so it feels longer. It is kind of oddly worth it if you find the right one. You can chase all the tail you want when you're single but at the end of the day it's nice to come home to someone who truly cares about you.

Exactly, its nice to come home to that girl that wont leave when you fart in the bed. :chuckles:

Nothing like a positive up beat post for some one who has porn in his avatar, lol. If she is cheating on me, hopefully he is buying her gifts...she has expensive tastes, lol

Congrats Lee. Lord knows I'm never getting married, but mainly because I think marriage is just an outdated tradition. With that said, I've been dating the same woman for about 2 years now, and we've already had the discussion about marriage. Neither of us want to do it because it can leave you feeling very trapped.

You will most likely grow out of that feeling. Its hard to explaing to someone in theier 20's how different life is when you are in your 30's and 40's. Eventually feelings of being trapped are replaced with feelings of security. But thanks for the congrats.

Maybe I worded that wrong. I understand the feeling of security, I've had nothing but a life of chaos, so some stability is nice. I guess it's just that I don't feel the need for a piece of paper to tell me I care about someone, or that someone cares about me. Marriage has always just felt like ownership to me. And that's not really a feeling I dig.

Thats love, True love is when she trys to dutch oven you right back.
