Can't just trade him on impulse. . . you have to keep looking at offers and obviously take one if it's very good (high draft picks/potential), but those are hard to find, especially for a one-year rental. My stance hasn't changed though. Management has to try to do whatever's possible to bring in talent to the team, and I mean that's all they have to do. Not appease him, because he's not very smart. You try to make the best team possible, and if you can't, then last case scenario you trade him. But, as far as these trade requests, player requests, song requests, tell him to shut the hell up and play. He's not a manager, he's not a coach, and he sure as hell isn't a scout.
I love Stan and would absolutely hate to lose him over shitty decisions by Dwight and management, even moreso if after fired, Dwight left anyways. However, if SVG being fired meant max extension, then I'm not sure what to think. I think it's easier to find a good coach then it is to find top 5 talent, so strictly from a business point of view you have to do it, but it would absolutely have to come first.
Even then, it'd still be odd cheering for a team that sacrificed its hardest working member BY FAR, for some immature jackass who can't think for himself.
