1. Exactly. This has been a FANTASTIC troll job by the original Twitter/Instagram poster. I'm jealous, honestly.

Edit: 'christovedo' the original poster never said the pic was from today. Original RCF poster and the reddit account assumed that and it took off from there. Classic internet telephone game, assumptions rapidly became fact. Pretty hilarious, actually.

Regardless of when it was taken or for what reason, it seems odd for the father of a Miami player to wear a shirt of a different NBA while doing a public appearance in Miami. Even more so when there is some smoke linking his son and that team.

Yeah, he really is. And his Miami homer-ness even has a funny nature to it. Those championship rants were absolutely hilarious. He actually has a very levelheaded approach to viewing sports. More so than the average fan.

Did you (or anyone else) listen to him in the week or two before LeBron made his announcement? Comedic gold.
