I never thought I'd ever see a Shenmue 3.
I would guess it's going to get a lot of support. We need an end to the story.
Personally, all the conferences were super meh yesterday. Although, I do understand the importance of Sony's three major announcements. The only thing of real interest on a personal level was BO3, and even then it's only that I will be getting the maps on time for once.
The Ubi conference started good, then it turned into Tom Clancy world, although For Honor looks good, and another SP game is a welcomed site.
Still not exactly sure what to think of the Division. On one hand, it seems Destiny-ish, but on the other it just looks boring. I fear for that game, it might have taken too long to get out the door to have a meaningful sales number.
Battlefront looks janky as hell. The controls from the demo just don't look good at all, although I am positive it will sell well.
The Bethesda conference was great, and that Todd Howard guy is a really good speaker. Although, I don't envision myself buying any of the Beth games until a new ES game, Fallout 4 looks to be best of show imo.
There's a 150 dollar controller, for incredibly rich people, backwards compatability that means nothing to the 0 360 games I own, a pirates game that was apparently *cringe worthy* gameplay, a Tomb Raider that looks like a rock climbing simulator, and Uncharted, now with Cars!
Edit: I forgot about the Dedtiny dlc announcement. The new supers look terrific, although another hive dlc is boring as hell. Instead of new enemy types, we get the same enemy types, but they've been "taken". Can't wait for a blow up thrall that doesn't blow up.
Somebody shoot me.
Edit 2: Horizon also looked kind of good. The combat didn't look bad at all, and the setting is relatively unique.
I've become very cynical lately on games. The last game I completed was Watch dogs maybe. I guess Destiny, but it never technically gets completed.Just curious, what's your type of game? You seem down on a lot of the AAA stuff that is mostly indistinguishable from each other, and you said yesterday that indie games aren't your thing too.
I wonder if Sony is gonna front the rest of the money. It's definitely gonna have to be at least a 100m title for it to have that classic Shenmue feel.https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ysnet/shenmue-3
Already backed. Only question is how far above they go.

But now they see that the demand is there, should be interesting.
The game has mad hype right now but it doesn't change the fact that the game never really sold well. They're gonna have to get more people into the story and making a movie like they with the first game isn't gonna cut it.
They need to make an import of both games on the ps4 and sell them for cheap.
Thought the Rainbow Six footage looked epic.
Never bought from the series, but thinking about taking that dive.
Thoughts?
