I don't think they'll sweep, the Hawks will probably get one or two at some point but the Cavs didn't play well offensively tonight and still won by a healthy margin even with Kyrie, JJ, Shump and Delly contributing next to nothing offensively tonight (that'll change). If it weren't for LeBron fucking around the last five minutes this was an absolute blowout so I don't know how you can say they'd lose if JR wasn't unconscious-- that's silly. That's like saying if LeBron didn't score they'd lose. Dumb argument. The Cavs defense is absolutely stifling right now and it's given this team an identity. It won't always be pretty but they'll grind the fuck out of you all night long.
What we learned tonight is that the Hawks have no answer for LeBron-- Carroll and Millsap weren't doing anything to disrupt him (The 1 on 5 shit with LeBron has to stop down the stretch, I want to pull my fucking hair out while each miss fueled Atlanta's transition game). The Hawks have no answer for TT or Mozzy on the offensive glass. Korver can't play ANY defense and as long as the Cavs have a defender draped over him he's total liability any time he's on the court for the Hawks (huge reason why JR went off tonight).
We also learned the Hawks offense is 100% reliant upon penetration by Teague and Schröder as we saw in the 1st half. Once we denied that in the 2nd half, their offense came to a screeching halt. Their PG's are the only players that can create their own shot so that'll allow the Cavs defense to swarm. Cut off the paint and make their PG's beat us with jump shots, cut off Korver's long-range shooting and force Millsap, Horford, Carroll/Bazemore to beat me. Personally, I think the Bulls were a much tougher matchup for the Cavs.....
