There is no hurry here. Lets see how this team gels, then make a move if needed.

In the early part of the season, center will be platooned. We ought to minimize Andy's minutes to just what we need to win. Against most teams, kyrie, lebron, love, and waiters could beat four on five... So you trot out the rookies with very simple guidance, rebound set picks and defend the rim.. If they dont figure it out you trade the lot of them at the deadline for an upgrade. We could afford to bundle Tristan or Dion to get a better player if needed. I think by mid season, some team will be ready for shed salary and tank mode, and that is where we find our next center.

Speights looks so intimidating, but he is a marshmallow.

Tis a shame. We saw what a motivated Speights was like the first few weeks after we traded for him. He was playing at an All Star level for while.

Then, after the excitement died down, he went back to being mediocre.

I wonder how quickly that tune would change if the Cavs offered a future pick. Not sure I'd want to give up that much for him though, even if they are in a position to do so.
